PCM AI & Intellectual Property

Process Communication Model® (PCM) is a proprietary methodology protected by intellectual property rights worldwide. PCM, Process Communication Model®, and related names, logos, materials and tools are the property of Kahler Communications and/or its authorized entities.
This protection extends, without limitation, to:
– PCM concepts, terminology and pedagogical architecture;
– PCM questionnaires and assessment tools;
– PCM Profiles and reports;
– PCM manuals, training materials, slides, videos and certification content;
– PCM accreditation and certification pathways;
– any confidential, restricted or non-public PCM resource made available to certified professionals, distributors, partners or clients.

Use of PCM content in artificial intelligence systems
No non-public PCM content may be uploaded, submitted, copied, processed, used for prompting, training, fine-tuning, indexing, retrieval, embedding or otherwise integrated into any public or private generative AI system, large language model, chatbot, assistant, agent, knowledge base or machine-learning tool without the prior written authorization of Kahler Communications.
This prohibition applies in particular to:
– PCM manuals and slides;
– certification and accreditation materials;
– facilitator guides;
– questionnaires, scoring logic and assessment mechanisms;
– PCM Profiles and detailed report content;
– videos, exercises and proprietary teaching resources;
– any confidential content accessible through PCM platforms or professional communities.

Unauthorized AI tools and impersonation
No chatbot, GPT, AI assistant, AI coach, automated scoring tool, application or digital service may:
– present itself as “PCM”, “Process Communication Model”, “official PCM”, or otherwise suggest authorization, sponsorship or endorsement by Kahler Communications;
– claim to identify or infer a person’s PCM Base, Phase, Personality Structure or official PCM Profile;
– generate, simulate or reproduce an official PCM Profile or PCM assessment result;
– reproduce or substitute for PCM proprietary tools, reports, questionnaires, certification processes or professional debriefings;
– use PCM trademarks, terminology or protected materials in a way that creates confusion as to source, approval or affiliation.

Any such use requires a specific written license from Kahler Communications.

Official PCM analysis and authorized use
Only analyses produced through official PCM tools and delivered in accordance with PCM standards by duly authorized PCM professionals may be presented as PCM-based assessments, PCM Profiles or official PCM interpretations. Artificial intelligence may not be used to replace, simulate or bypass the authorized PCM questionnaire, the official profile generation process, or the role of certified PCM professionals where such authorization is required.
Protection, enforcement and takedown requests Kahler Communications actively protects PCM intellectual property and may take any appropriate action against unauthorized use, including:
– contractual enforcement;
– cease-and-desist notices;
– trademark and copyright complaints;
– requests for removal or restriction of unauthorized AI assistants, GPTs, datasets, bots, applications, web pages or other infringing materials;
legal action where necessary.

Major AI platforms provide reporting procedures for alleged copyright and trademark infringements. OpenAI, for example, maintains dedicated reporting channels for copyright disputes and trademark disputes, as well as broader content-reporting mechanisms. (OpenAI)

Reporting unauthorized PCM AI use
Anyone who becomes aware of an AI tool, chatbot, GPT, assistant, online service or dataset that appears to use PCM intellectual property without authorization is encouraged to report it to Kahler Communications, including:
– the name of the tool or service;
– the URL or platform location;
– screenshots or examples of the alleged misuse;
– any indication that the tool claims to be official, licensed or PCM-based.

Kahler Communications will review such reports and take appropriate action where warranted.

Our commitment Kahler Communications recognizes the potential value of artificial intelligence when used responsibly, ethically and lawfully. However, AI must not be used to appropriate, reproduce, dilute or misrepresent the Process Communication Model® or its protected ecosystem. Our objective is to preserve the integrity, quality and reliability of PCM for the benefit of clients, certified professionals, partners and the global PCM community.
